ONE of the groups of protesters rallying to pressure Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha to step down as his eight-year rule ends today (August 23) held a ceremony to curse him at the Democracy Monument, INN News and Sanook.com said.
This ceremony, which started at 5.30 p.m., involved burning salt and chillies and an image of Gen. Prayut. The participants also set off several firecrackers.
It was reported that this group intends to stay at the Democracy Monument to countdown to chasing Prayut out of premiership when his eight-year tenure ends at the stroke of midnight.
