PALANG PRACHARATH PARTY Secretary-General Thammanat Prompow yesterday (Dec. 30) disavowed the reported publishing and distributing of a 2022 calendar which evidently mentions his name only to ridicule a famous slogan of Thammasat University.
The secretary general of the ruling party referred to the emulated catchphrase printed on the questionable calendar saying ”I Love Thammanat Because Thammanat Taught Me To Love The People”, denying he was by any means involved in the publishing or distributing of such a giveaway to the people anywhere.
That compares to the original catchphrase cited by alumnae of Thammasat University as saying ”I Love Thammasat Because Thammasat Taught Me To Love The People.”
The former deputy agriculture and cooperatives minister called on those who may have forged such material to stop doing so or to refrain from sharing it online otherwise he said he will certainly take legal action against them.
Thammanat has joined ranks with Palang Pracharath Party leader Prawit Wongsuwan occasionally taking trips to the provinces in all regions of the country to visit the constituents in apparent bid to muster and strengthen their popularity.
